Creator introduction

Tsukiya ware kiln

After the practice of masatomo soma at the pottery garden in tsutsuya Yaki, the kiln was built in nagatake, Onda village, Okinawa Prefecture. It has been moved to zajiya village in yatsudani in 1953.

The traditional glaze "Okinawan" in Okinawa, which is made by blending the soil of Okinawa, has been preserving the tradition of Tsuboya Yaki, handmade with many glazes.
Among them, we are constantly creating new works for the new words, such as the red paint, dyed, fish pattern, itch, and so on.
In addition, he has been trying to make a wide variety of sake bottles, such as sake cakes for awamori (old sake), seeser and Ryukyu Nanban (Araki).
