[Introduction of the creator]

"Tsuboya Ware Ceramic Kiln" is one of the leading Yachiming kobos in Okinawa.
After Masakazu Soma trained at the Tsuboya ware nursery, the Toshin kiln was built at Onna Village Nakashin, Okinawa Prefecture, as the kiln owner.
In 1988, the kiln was transferred to Yomitan Muraza Kimi, and it has reached the present day.

Many glazes, including the typical Okinawan glaze "Silgusi", are handmade in the soil made by blending the soil of Okinawa, and continues to preserve the tradition of Tsuboya ware.
Among them, we continue to create new works under the slogan of "always new things" such as red painting, dyeing, fish crest, and itchin peculiar to Toshin kiln.
In addition, we are working hard to make a wide range of kinds of sake pots for Awamori (old sake), shisa and Ryukyu Nanban (arayaki).

The product image and the product to be delivered are not exactly the same.
Since all utsuwa is handmade, the size, shape, color, pattern, texture, etc. differ from one point to point.
Please refrain from purchasing individual differences such as penetration (cracks like patterns entering the surface), pinholes (small holes), iron powder (in which iron is oxidized and sunspoted due to iron burning), and individual differences such as unevenness of glaze as the individuality of the utsuwa and the expression of the utsuwa.
