[Introduction of creators]
"Tsuboya ware pottery kiln" of Yachimun Kobo, one of the leading in Okinawa.
The pottery kiln was built by Masakazu Soma at the Tsuboya ware pottery garden, and then mainly at Nakama, Onna Village, Okinawa Prefecture.
The kiln was moved to Zakimi, Yomitan in 1978, and continues to the present day.
We continue to preserve the tradition of Tsuboya ware by hand-crafting many glazes, including Okinawa's representative glaze "Sirgusui", on the soil made by blending Okinawan soil.
Among them, we continue to create new works with the slogan "always new things" such as red paintings, dyeing, fish crests, and itchins unique to pottery kilns.
In addition, we are working hard to make a wide variety of sake jars for Awamori (old sake), Shisa and Ryukyu Nanban (Arayaki).
The product image and the delivered product are not exactly the same.
Since all the containers are handmade, the size, shape, color, pattern, texture, etc. are different one by one.
Individual differences such as intrusion (cracks that look like patterns entering the surface), pinholes (small holes), iron powder (a state in which iron is oxidized to black spots due to burning), and uneven glaze are the individual differences of the container. Please refrain from purchasing those who cannot capture it as an expression.
We do not accept cancellations, returns or exchanges due to customer's convenience.
