Born in Tokyo. After graduating from musashino art university junior college craft design major ceramics course, he painted and was in charge of product design at Issa kiln, a pottery of Hasami ware in Nagasaki Prefecture.
Moved to Kumamoto Prefecture in 2003. In addition to his work as a writer who mainly produces and sells vessels, he has been a lecturer in ceramics classes for 15 years.
Currently, he moved to Ojo City, Saga Prefecture, and is working on a vacant house with a warehouse as a workshop.
