[Introduction of the creator]
"Ikutoen", a kiln that lasts for about 300 years at Tsuboya in Naha, Okinawa
We are particular about Okinawan materials and are working on making okinawan materials carefully and carefully one by one. We think about the people who always use it, and we are making things that are close to our daily lives. While cherishing the traditional techniques and patterns inherited from our predecessors, we continue to challenge the expression of new Yachimun.
Many of the patterns depicted in the pottery of the Ikutoen are traditional patterns that have been drawn in Tsuboya ware for a long time, and many of them have good-luck meanings, each of which contains the thoughts of its predecessors.
