[Introduction of the creator]
"Aigama Horiuchi Ceramics Works" is a kiln of Manko ware that is located at the foot of Mt. Gozaisho in Chino-cho, Mie Prefecture, and has been running a small and long pottery business with great care of "ordinary things". The kiln name using the character of "Indigo", which is a color representative of cotton and is also the color of the indigo, which is representative of the coloring fee of the pottery, has the desire to incorporate such a sense of cotton into everyday vessels. While incorporating a new sense, we aim to create a product that does not lose sight of only the basics rooted in tradition.
